19 Babies Saved

On October 22, 2024 WCRR received notice from a kind soul named, Sarah. Sarah reported 19 babies (8 girls, 11 boys) who were set for a horrible fate. They were just 7.5 weeks old. By October 30, 2024 all 19 were accounted for and transported safely to our co-founder (and Ratty Mama Pro) Becca.

After time of a lot of love, socialization, handling, and learning that human hands are okay, they were ready for their next adventures with their new homes.

About 1:30 on June 24, 2026 the rescue received an email about a rat outside of a building on Hornby St. Our Founder, Becca reached out to our core volunteers, and Johnathan dropped everything to rush to the location and safely catch and transport the little guy. He has arrived at his foster’s home. More to come later about this little dudes journey.

Absolutely none of this would of been possible if it wasn’t for the amazing lady who emailed about him, and stayed out in the heat with him till our volunteer could get there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring.
